 Child and Adolescent Psychiatric Service

The Child and Adolescent Psychiatric Service aims to serve young people under age of 18 with early identification and timely intervention to their mental health problems. Our Peer Support worker shares his patient journey experience and gives emotional support to carers and patients in their recovery. The team will enhance the support to schools for children and adolescents to remain in the community, hoping to promote and consolidate the development of community mental health.

Scope of Services

  1. Inpatient Service
     
  2. Outpatient and Day Hospital Services are provided by Yaumatei Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (more details) and Kwai Chung Child and Adolescent Psychiatric Centre (more details)
  • Yaumatei Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service

    We provide holistic psychiatric services for children and adolescents with psychiatric /psychological problems residing in Districts within Kowloon West Cluster and Kowloon Central Cluster.

Scope of Services

  • Outpatient Service
    We provide professional diagnostic, treatment and rehabilitation services for children and adolescents under the age of 18.
     
  • Day Hospital Service
    We provide multi-disciplinary training programme for individual and group training services.
 
  • Kwai Chung Child and Adolescent Psychiatric Centre

    We provide holistic psychiatric services for children and adolescents with psychiatric /psychological problems residing in Districts within Kowloon West Cluster and Kowloon Central Cluster.

  • Development and Resilience Training Service (DARTS)
    We provide nurse and occupational therapist training programme for individual and group training services.

 

  1. Child and Adolescent Mental Health Community Support Project (CAMCom) provides early identification and intervention services for children and adolescents with mild anxiety and symptoms of depression.
